A year of celebration for site investigation firm Dunelm Geotechnical and Environmental!
Northeast based site investigation firm Dunelm Geotechnical and Environmental have been shortlisted for the prestigious Ground Engineering Awards for Site Investigation Specialist of the Year for the second year running.
2016 is set to be a year of celebration for Dunelm, as they are also celebrating their 50th anniversary in business.
Building on last year’s success, Dunelm has seen an increase in turnover of around 50% in the past year. This additional revenue has allowed the company to invest in new members of staff, seeing an increase in workforce of 15% in 2015. Investment in staff has allowed for the development of new innovative work procedures increasing overall efficiency.
Their success has been recognised by the Ground Engineering Awards, as they are finalists for the second year running. Before the awards, all finalists will attend face-to-face judging in London by members of the 43-strong jury, made up of leaders in the industry.
Dunelm are shortlisted for the award on the back of a number of large scale site investigations they have successfully delivered in the region, including producing a sustainable water-well for a charitable organisation in Cumbria.

This year’s award ceremony will be held on June 30 at the London Hilton, Park Lane, where over 800 of the industry elite will join together for an event filled with entertainment, celebration and networking.
