Dunelm Partners with The Lighthouse Charity to Drive Community Impact
Dunelm Geotechnical & Environmental is proud to announce a new partnership with The Lighthouse Charity, a highly respected charity dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of construction workers and their families. Through this collaboration, Dunelm will help expand access to crucial financial and emotional support services for industry professionals, ensuring no worker is left unsupported in times of need.
The Lighthouse Charity provides a lifeline for those facing challenges such as illness, injury, or bereavement. Their work includes financial grants to help with living costs, a 24/7 helpline offering mental health and legal guidance, and industry-focused training programmes to promote mental wellbeing and prevent suicide within the construction sector. Together, Dunelm and the Lighthouse Charity will deliver targeted initiatives that address these issues and make a real difference to the lives of construction workers and their families.
Paul McMann, Operations Director commented, “We’re honoured to partner with the Lighthouse Charity and support the vital services they provide. The construction industry faces unique challenges, and through this partnership, we can help ensure that workers have access to the support they need when they need it most.”
Representatives from the Lighthouse Charity expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “This partnership will enhance our ability to deliver critical services to those in the construction industry who are facing hardship. We’re thrilled to have Dunelm’s support as we continue our mission to improve lives and promote a healthier, more secure construction community.”
This partnership will be celebrated through a series of initiatives, including on-site engagement programmes and community events, with the shared goal of making a meaningful and lasting impact within the construction sector.
