Join Our Team | Yard Person / Site Engineer – Hungerford
Dunelm Geotechnical & Environmental is looking for a practical, organised and hands-on Yard Person / Site Engineer to join our team in Hungerford.
This is a varied role combining responsibility for the day-to-day management of our yard and stores with site engineering, testing and monitoring duties.
The role will include:
🔹 Managing and maintaining a safe, tidy and well-organised yard and stores
🔹 Preparing, loading and transporting site equipment and materials
🔹 Receiving, logging, storing, segregating and disposing of soil and rock samples
🔹 Providing site engineering support, including in-situ testing such as soakaway, permeability and DCP testing
🔹 Undertaking gas and groundwater monitoring and sampling
🔹 Carrying out site walkovers to support Phase 1 Desk Studies
🔹 Assisting with stock control and compliance
What we’re looking for:
🔹 Full UK manual driving licence
🔹 Comfortable working across the yard, office, sites and laboratories
🔹 Strong organisational and communication skills
🔹 A good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices
